Truth prevailed: Relief for Rahul, Sonia Gandhi in National Herald case

NEW DELHI: The Delhi court declined to take cognizance of a new FIR in the National Herald case, stating the Enforcement Directorate’s investigation is based on a private complaint rather than an FIR. The court ruled that Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and others are not entitled to the FIR copy but allowed the ED to continue its investigation. The Congress party claimed the proceedings are politically motivated and legally untenable, while the BJP dismissed these allegations as baseless.
