Google will discontinue its dark web report tool early next year, ceasing notifications related to personal information exposure on the dark web due to user feedback about the lack of actionable next steps. Originally available to Google One subscribers and opened to all in mid-2024, the service will stop monitoring on January 15, 2026, and report access will end on February 16. Google aims to focus on tools that provide clearer guidance for users in response to data breaches. Users can remove their monitoring profile now through the tool’s official page.
