Auckland Man Admits Causing Hamilton Crash That Killed Two Teens

Auckland man Kre Turia has admitted to causing a high-speed crash that resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to several others after colliding with a Fonterra truck on Ulster St, Hamilton, on July 9, 2023. Initially appearing in court in January on charges of dangerous driving causing death and injury, his name suppression ended when he reappeared in court this week. The 24-year-old labourer has been convicted and is set for sentencing in March next year.
