The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reports that around 6,000 lorries loaded with essential food and supplies for Gaza are being held by occupation authorities, enough for three months. Despite a nominal increase in shipments post-ceasefire, the aid remains insufficient to meet the dire needs of the population, with many essential items still blocked. Most of Gaza’s residents rely entirely on humanitarian aid due to diminished purchasing power. UNRWA’s media adviser highlighted that only commercial goods have been allowed, exacerbating the crisis.
