Five Palestinians Injured in Israeli Army Raid in West Bank

Five Palestinians were injured by Israeli fire during a military raid in Al-Bireh, with medics treating two children for rubber bullet wounds and addressing three tear gas-related injuries, including two young women. The Israeli army intensified operations in the West Bank, surrounding several buildings and imposing curfews, following a recent evacuation of Palestinian families in the Jenin area. Since the onset of the Gaza war in October 2023, over 1,085 Palestinians have been killed, 10,700 injured, and 20,500 arrested. The International Court of Justice declared Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories illegal last July, calling for the evacuation of settlements.
