Sudanese Sovereignty Council chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan met with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki in Port Sudan to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss regional stability amidst ongoing conflict in Sudan between the army and the RSF. The talks emphasized cooperation in security, economic, and trade sectors, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to mutual support and rejecting foreign interference.
