Man injured by explosion near Wimbledon Tube station

A man in his 60s was hospitalized with burns following an explosion in Wimbledon, south London, around 10am on Queens Road. The incident occurred when the contents of a van exploded after it hit the roof of a car park near Wimbledon station. Police have stated that the explosion is not believed to be terror-related, and emergency services, including the Hazardous Area Response Team, attended the scene. Queens Road is currently closed in both directions, affecting local bus routes.
