Israeli Forces Conduct Raid in Quneitra, Syria

Five Israeli military vehicles infiltrated the village of Saida al-Golan in southwestern Syria’s Quneitra on Sunday, marking a continued violation of Syrian sovereignty. This incursion follows a pattern of intensified Israeli activities in the region, including raids near Ma’riya village and destruction of farmland and forests. Since December 2024, Israel has conducted over 1,000 airstrikes and 400 cross-border raids in southern Syria. Israel’s actions have escalated following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, further expanding its occupation of the Syrian Golan Heights.
