British Snipers Allegedly Targeted Children During Sarajevo Siege
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Prosecutors in Milan have launched an investigation into alleged ‘sniper tourists’ from various countries, including Britain, who reportedly paid to shoot at civilians during the Bosnian War’s Sarajevo siege in the 1990s. Journalist Ezio Gavazzeni claims these wealthy individuals engaged in ‘murder tourism,’ killing for sport, despite the siege resulting in nearly 14,000 deaths. The investigation follows Gavazzeni’s efforts to highlight these crimes, which he believes have been overlooked for decades. Notable figures, such as former Bosnian Serb leaders Radovan Karadzic and Stanislav Galic, were previously convicted of war crimes related to the siege.
