Ryan Reynolds Announces Thunderbolt and Lightfoot Remake

Ryan Reynolds is remaking the 1974 action comedy film Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, collaborating with Amazon MGM. He will star and produce through his Maximum Effort company, working with writers Enzo Mileti and Scott Wilson, while Shane Reid will direct. The original film featured Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges, with Bridges earning an Oscar nomination for his role. Additionally, Reynolds will star in Netflix’s live-action Eloise movie, directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino.
