On November 8, 2025, a high-speed crash in Tampa, Florida, resulted in at least four fatalities and 11 injuries when a driver lost control and crashed into a business while fleeing law enforcement. The driver, Silas Sampson, 22, was reportedly speeding and had been previously seen street racing. Three victims died at the scene, with a fourth succumbing to injuries later; several others remain hospitalized.
