Lauren Betts will have to wait at least one more game to share the court at UCLA with her younger sister.
UCLA’s Sienna Betts, the second-best recruit in the nation, has been ruled out for the season opener against San Diego State due to a left leg injury sustained in a scrimmage. Coach Cori Close stated that while Sienna is progressing well, she will be day-to-day after the game. Despite losing key players to the transfer portal, UCLA aims to leverage the talents of Sienna and other transfers alongside returning stars. Following the opener, UCLA will face UC Santa Barbara and No. 6 Oklahoma in upcoming games.
