The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has removed South Africa, Nigeria, Mozambique, and Burkina Faso from its “grey list” after successful on-site visits showcased their progress in addressing financial crime shortcomings. Leaders from these countries welcomed the decision as a significant step towards economic reform and institutional integrity, with Nigeria’s President highlighting it as a milestone in global credibility efforts.
