Police shoot man with weapon in Wellington

Police in Wellington shot and arrested a man who allegedly threatened occupants of a property with a large bladed weapon. The man is currently under armed guard in the hospital for a dog bite and a superficial shoulder injury, following the incident that involved pepper spray, dogs, a taser, and the Armed Offender’s Squad.
