Aussie cyclist narrowly misses Vuelta hat-trick

Jay Vine narrowly missed his third stage win at the Vuelta a España, finishing second in the time trial in Valladolid, just 0.9 seconds behind Italian champion Filippo Ganna. While Vine is set to secure the King of the Mountains title, fellow Australian Jai Hindley lost ground in the general classification battle for the podium against Tom Pidcock, who currently leads by 39 seconds.
