Russia sends high-level team to Syria to discuss aid, energy

Russia, led by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, has sent a significant delegation to Syria to strengthen ties with the newly established government following the ousting of Bashar al-Assad. Discussions include humanitarian aid and energy sector restoration, while reaffirming Russia’s military interests in the region and its role in stabilizing the situation amidst regional tensions, particularly with Israel.
