BJP MP Nishikant Dubey and five others, including Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari, were booked by Jharkhand Police for allegedly forcibly entering the Baba Baidyanath temple’s sanctum sanctorum, violating restrictions during the holy month of ‘Shravan.’ The FIR, filed by temple priest Kartik Nath Thakur, cites concerns over hurt religious sentiments and a scuffle with police that caused panic among devotees.
