Lower household electricity and gas tariffs from July to September
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Household electricity and gas tariffs in Singapore will decrease between July and September, with electricity tariffs dropping by 2.3% to 27.47 cents per kWh, resulting in a S$2.36 reduction in the average monthly bill for HDB four-room flats. Gas tariffs will also fall from 22.72 cents to 22.28 cents per kWh due to lower fuel costs, as reviewed quarterly by SP Group and City Energy based on guidelines from the Energy Market Authority.

Explain It To Me Like I’m 5:

Singapore’s electricity and gas prices are going down for a few months because the cost to make energy has gotten cheaper.
