A British grandmother, Freda Jackson, expressed her disappointment after her two-week holiday in Benidorm was marred by ‘rude’ Spanish guests at Hotel Poseidon Playa, where she felt the entertainment was tailored for domestic tourists. Despite her mobility issues, she was initially placed on the 14th floor before being moved to a second-floor room still far from amenities. She is now seeking a refund for her £1,133 trip after Thomas Cook offered only a £75 voucher for their troubles, acknowledging a system error regarding flight changes prior to departure.
