The UN chief stated that Palestinians are experiencing “the cruelest phase” of the Gaza war, with limited aid trickling in amidst intensifying Israeli military operations aimed at Hamas. Despite the approval of nearly 400 aid trucks, only 115 reached Gaza, and reports indicate that 15 of these trucks were looted, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. Since the resumption of hostilities on March 18, Gaza’s health ministry reports over 3,673 deaths, contributing to a total war toll of 53,822, with significant civilian casualties on both sides.
