Legislation passed quickly allows the state to manage operations and secure necessary resources as the company faces daily losses of $915,600. Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds warned that a full nationalization is likely, emphasizing the need to protect jobs and ensure the UK does not become reliant on foreign steel.
