Oscar Piastri Dominates Final Practice at Bahrain Grand Prix
Oscar Piastri led the final practice session at the Bahrain Grand Prix, clocking a best lap of 1:31.646 seconds, significantly outpacing his McLaren teammate Lando Norris by 0.668 seconds. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc finished third but was 0.834 seconds slower than Piastri, while reigning champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull ended up eighth. With cooler conditions expected for qualifying and the race, Piastri’s strong performance sets him up favorably for the upcoming events, as fellow Australian Jack Doohan placed 12th in his Alpine.
