ChatGPT will now remember your old conversations

OpenAI has upgraded ChatGPT’s memory capability, allowing the chatbot to recall past conversations without user prompting. This aligns with OpenAI’s goal of developing AI systems that understand users over time. The update includes two memory features: saved memories that users manually ask ChatGPT to remember, and reference chat history for improving future conversations. The upgrade is currently rolling out to paid users, with the option to disable memory storage for those who prefer not to save conversations.
