Western Mines Group has unveiled a staggering maiden mineral resource estimate for its Mulga Tank nickel project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields, containing 5.3 million tonnes of sulphide-hosted nickel metal along with cobalt, copper, and platinum group elements. The project is poised to become one of Australia’s largest nickel sulphide deposits, potentially ranking in the world’s Top 10. With a total estimated resource of nearly 2 billion tonnes at Mulga Tank, Western Mines Group’s discovery surpasses existing major nickel sulphide deposits in Australia.
