Disabilities that may qualify for DWP work travel grants and other support

Launched in 1994, the Access to Work scheme helps individuals with disabilities or conditions find jobs or remain employed by offering grants for practical support like travel costs or specialist equipment. Applicants do not need a condition diagnosis to apply, and the scheme does not impact other benefits. To be eligible, individuals must be at least 16 years old, live in England, Scotland, or Wales, and have a physical or mental health condition that requires support at work.
