A man in his 70s died in a single-vehicle crash on the R245 in Carrigart, Co Donegal, while a woman in her 30s was seriously injured in a car-pedestrian collision on the N76 in Callan, Co Kilkenny. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to both incidents, with the road in Kilkenny currently closed for investigation. Any road users with camera footage in either area are asked to provide it to the authorities.
