The team’s victory was announced during the Hockey Night in Canada broadcast, with Lakeshore Mayor Tracey Bailey congratulating the team for their inspiring work in building community and supporting those in need. Runner-up teams, U11 Huntsville Sting Black and U11 East York Bulldogs, also received donations for their selected Canadian charities after completing 1,422 good deeds.
