Former Vice President Kamala Harris currently has Secret Service protection extended by President Biden for at least six months, while Chelsea Clinton no longer has a detail. President Trump’s family members all have protection, but Mr. Trump revoked it for the adult children of Mr. Biden. The Secret Service is required to protect certain individuals, including sitting presidents and their families, former presidents and their spouses for life, and visiting heads of states and their spouses.
