Microsoft initially offered a free upgrade to Windows 11 to entice users away from Windows 10, but the new system comes with an abundance of ads. To combat the intrusive ads, users can disable them in various settings, including the Start menu, notifications, File Explorer, widgets, and manufacturer bloatware notifications. Additionally, users can block lock-screen and background ads by turning off the Windows Spotlight feature.
