Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum may become the first NBA player to endorse a painkiller, Journavx, after recovering from an Achilles tendon tear during the 2025 Eastern Conference Semifinals. Following a difficult recovery and dissatisfaction with opioid pain medication, Tatum partnered with Vertex Pharmaceuticals to promote this non-addictive pain relief option.
