4 Oklahoma Sooners earn NFCA All-American honors

The Oklahoma Sooners, under coach Patty Gasso, celebrated a successful season, clinching their first SEC title and returning to the Women’s College World Series for the ninth straight year, fueled by standout performances from sophomores Ella Parker and Kasidi Pickering, both named first-team All-Americans. Transfer pitcher Sam Landry also excelled, earning second-team honors with a 23-4 record and a 1.92 ERA, while true freshman Gabbie Garcia, recognized on the third team, led the team with 20 home runs. The Sooners will commence their World Series campaign against the Tennessee Volunteers in Oklahoma City on Thursday.
