The Auditor General identified that Eagle misled an official inquiry about his excessive spending by fabricating financial records. Following this, Eagle resigned from his position, expressing regret for his actions and admitting to panicking during questioning. The Auditor General has not yet determined the legality of Eagle’s conduct.
