A woman was discovered injured and distressed in a remote area of coastal West Auckland following an alleged attack and abduction. A passerby found her in the Cornwallis area around 7 a.m. on Sunday, and she was subsequently taken to a nearby police station before being transferred to a hospital. Authorities arrested a 49-year-old man in Mt Eden on Wednesday night as part of the investigation.
