Northland Woman Killed in Kaihu Dog Attack Identified

The death of Mihiata Te Rore, a 62-year-old woman from Northland, has been described as “tragic” by her family following a dog attack at a property in Kaihu. Te Rore was visiting someone on State Highway 12 when she was mauled by three dogs at the residence. Emergency services arrived at 11:25 AM but found her deceased. Police confirmed she had sustained fatal injuries from the attack.
