Anne Wojcicki, co-founder and former CEO of 23andMe, plans to acquire the company for $305 million through her nonprofit TTAM Research Institute, following its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. This deal, resulting from a bidding contest with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, is pending court approval and includes commitments to enhance consumer privacy protections.
