The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to accelerate the construction of a second pipeline from Fujairah, enhancing its energy security and export capabilities. Announced by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, the new West-East pipeline will expand ADNOC’s capacity to transport crude oil directly to Fujairah, aiming for operations to begin in 2027.
