Scotland’s First Minister John Swinney criticized the actions of the US and Israel in Iran, stating they lack justification under international law and must cease for the sake of innocent lives. He condemned the violence in the region, highlighting the suffering caused by the Iranian regime but asserting that it does not excuse the ongoing destruction seen in Iran. Swinney called for diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the conflict amid rising hostilities since US-Israel attacks began on February 28, resulting in significant casualties.
