US has spent $12 billion on strikes against Iran, according to economic adviser

The US has spent approximately $12 billion on military operations in Iran since the joint strikes with Israel began on February 28, according to White House economic adviser Kevin Hassett. The administration does not anticipate needing additional congressional funding, relying on existing weapons stockpiles. The conflict has reportedly resulted in around 1,200 deaths, including that of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and 14 US service members have also been killed.
