Iranian authorities have arrested eight foreigners in the southeast of the country on suspicion of ties to foreign intelligence services, with three others reportedly killed during a security operation near the border. The operation uncovered various weapons, including RPG-7 launchers and US-made rifles. Initial interrogations revealed the detainees’ alleged involvement in a recent attack in Kerman that resulted in the deaths of three police officers and a civilian. This incident occurs amid rising tensions between Iran and the US ahead of renewed nuclear negotiations in Geneva.
