Lebanon has been warned by international allies of a potential catastrophe if Hezbollah intervenes in support of Iran amid rising tensions with the US. A Lebanese official stated that any Hezbollah involvement could have dire consequences for the country. This follows Hezbollah’s declaration of non-neutrality if Iran is attacked. Additionally, the US has ordered embassy staff to leave Lebanon due to security concerns as it increases military presence in the region and considers action against Iran’s nuclear program.
