UN Chief Criticizes Killing of Palestinian-American in West Bank

The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the killing of 19-year-old dual Palestinian-American Nasrallah Abu Siyam by Israeli settlers in Mukhmas, West Bank, calling for a “prompt, thorough and transparent” investigation. The attack also injured three other Palestinians, with Guterres urging Israel to prevent further violence against the Palestinian population. Since early 2023, settler attacks have displaced over 4,700 Palestinians in the West Bank.
