1,000 sportspeople killed, 265 facilities destroyed in Gaza conflict

At least 1,007 Palestinian sports people have died, and 265 sports facilities were destroyed during Israel’s ongoing conflict in Gaza since October 2023, according to the Palestinian Olympic Committee.
