Syrian Transport Minister Yarub Badr and Saudi counterpart Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser agreed on a roadmap to enhance rail and road connectivity between their countries during a meeting at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation conference in Türkiye. They plan to hold a technical meeting in Saudi Arabia in March and discussed existing cooperation in transport. Badr invited Al-Jasser to Damascus to further their discussions on rail connectivity and economic integration. Additionally, the Saudi minister expressed appreciation for the reopening of Syrian airspace to Saudi flights, hoping for increased air travel in the future.
