Palestine Action Legal Challenge
London’s Metropolitan Police announced they will prioritize evidence gathering over arrests following a High Court ruling deeming the UK government’s ban on Palestine Action as unlawful under terrorism laws. The court found the ban “disproportionate” and not justified by the group’s activities, but the prohibition remains in place pending an appeal. Police will monitor expressions of support for Palestine Action without immediate arrests, while still intervening against unlawful actions. The group was banned after a July 2025 incident involving vandalism at a Royal Air Force base.
