Political detainees from the Jenin refugee camp have initiated an open-ended hunger strike at al-Junaid prison in Nablus to protest their detention and demand release. The Committee of Families of Political Prisoners cited violations of rights, including torture and solitary confinement, as catalysts for the strike. They hold authorities accountable for the detainees’ safety and call for the unconditional release of all political prisoners. The committee urges unified national efforts against ongoing attacks by the occupation rather than pursuing resistance fighters.
