Lebanon receives $360M for rebuilding southern regions

A total of $360 million has been secured for rebuilding southern Lebanon, damaged during the recent war with Israel, according to Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. The funding includes $250 million from the World Bank and €110 million from the French Development Agency and European partners. Salam emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting displaced individuals and restoring living conditions, while the cost of reconstruction is estimated at $5 billion. He condemned ongoing Israeli attacks as violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and plans to monitor reconstruction efforts closely.
