Israeli Forces Detain Journalists and Activists in West Bank

Israeli forces detained two journalists, two foreign activists, and Palestinian activist Rateb al-Jbour in Hebron while they documented assaults by illegal settlers on residents of the Masafer Yatta region. The arrests occurred after settlers attacked the community, with rising incidents causing injuries and property damage. Al-Jbour was later released, but the status of the journalists and foreign activists remains unclear. The situation has escalated amid increased military operations in the West Bank, resulting in significant Palestinian casualties and displacement since October 2023.
