Red Cross Calls for Improved Humanitarian Conditions in Gaza

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has urged states to urgently address the severe humanitarian conditions in Gaza, despite recent ceasefire progress. ICRC President Mirjana Spoljaric emphasized the need to improve living conditions and ease restrictions on essential materials for infrastructure repair. Many residents remain displaced amid winter hardships, with hospitals and schools in dire need of repair. Spoljaric reiterated the responsibility of all parties to uphold international humanitarian law to save lives and restore dignity.
