Meeting in Moscow
Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, at the Kremlin during Larijani’s visit to Russia, as confirmed by presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump reiterated his call for Iran to negotiate on its nuclear program and mentioned the deployment of a significant US naval presence near Iran, referring to it as a larger “armada” than previously sent to Venezuela.
