Israel Demolishes Buildings at UN Agency Headquarters in East Jerusalem

Israeli forces, along with far-right National Security Minister Ben-Gvir, raided the UNRWA headquarters in East Jerusalem on Tuesday, demolishing structures within the Sheikh Jarrah compound. Witnesses reported that Israeli crews used bulldozers to dismantle both mobile and permanent buildings, and they replaced the UN flag with the Israeli flag. Aryeh King, a deputy mayor of Jerusalem, referred to UNRWA as “Nazi” and announced its removal from the city amidst ongoing protests. The UN chief condemned the Israeli forces’ “unlawful entry” into the health center.
